
This is SPICY ADOBO FLAKES at TNT. This foodie is best partnered with a very cold drink. And actually, can be prepared easily at home. The secret is in how you flavor your Adobo before flaking them..
Here's our version at the Orange House.
- Cook Adobo the regular way (use pork with less fat) or your style
- Let it sit to cool
- Use two forks to flake each Adobo cut
- prepare a new pan to cook them again
- put a little butter and and keep the heat low
- place all the flaked Adobo and constantly fold to prevent from sticking in the pan
- OPTIONAL:
- you can add powdered spices like garlic powder and chillies powder if it's not hot enough for you
- you can also add thinly sliced ginger and garlic to add to the taste
SECRET: You can actually cheat by using a microwave or an oven toaster in making them crispy flakes.. But that method above gave us wonderful results..
